Apple has released updated audio drivers to fix a major issue causing blown out speakers on new MacBook Pro models running Windows 10 with Boot Camp. If you really want a Mac and macOS (for personal use), running bootcamp for school work and macOS for personal use is doable, but you get. I had a blast playing this game during the stress test weekend, and for part of it I played on my rMBP 15' with the Radeon m370x. The only way I was able to get consistently smooth fps without mouse movement latency problems was to play at 1280x800 with all settings set to low. This is with Windows 10 installed to an external (USB 3) SSD with all of my bootcamp drivers up to date. I was surprised to hear that some players are able to play with an HD 4400 with regular PC's, since the m370x should be a lot more powerful. Anyone else playing on an m370x? How about Iris/Iris Pro, gt 650m, or gt 750m? Also, iMac players - if there are any of you - how's your performance? Hey everyone! I know this thread is sort of old, but I just installed Bootcamp on my machine and it works very well. Though there are other emulator options for OS X, OpenEmu has been designed from the ground up for OS X. 1.0, an open source project designed to bring game emulation to OS X, has officially launched following a beta testing period. The emulator features a native OS X interface with a design that mirrors iTunes, offering up ROMs in a unified card-style menu organized by system. With OpenEmu, it is extremely easy to add, browse, organize and with a compatible gamepad, play those favorite games (ROMs) you already own.OpenEmu is able to emulate the hardware of several different consoles, including several 16-bit systems like the Game Boy, GameBoy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Gear, NeoGeo Pocket, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo, among others. When you install Mac's Bootcamp stuff after installing Windows, it includes a very old driver for the NVIDIA card. When I went to boot Overwatch, a dialog box popped up about by graphics card driver being outdated. The game was SUPER slow and the graphics were terrible. I went to NVIDIA's website and downloaded the 'Game Ready Driver' (). After installing this and restarting my computer, I am now able to play Overwatch at full resolution with medium settings at 60fps. ![]() Of course, mileage my vary, but my laptop is four years old and can still run it pretty well. Ever since I wrote about earlier this year, I’ve received tons of questions about installing Windows 10 on an external drive using Boot Camp drivers. The truth is, this is a workaround using Windows To Go, and the process for doing so is a bit more in-depth than it is for installing proper Boot Camp on your Mac’s internal disk, but it’s still very easy to do, and only takes about 30-40 minutes. In this hands-on step-by-step walkthrough, we show you how to install Windows 10 on your Mac using an external drive. Watch our video inside to see how. Outside of the time it takes, another downside associated with creating a Boot Camp partition is that it can take up a significant amount of space on your primary drive. Since some Macs are fairly limited when it comes to internal storage space, having a large Boot Camp partition can make it tricky to manage storage space in macOS. In this follow-up tutorial, we show you how to remove the Boot Camp partition from your Mac, which allows your primary macOS partition to reclaim its space. Unlike the Boot Camp creation + Windows 10 installation process, removing a Boot Camp partition couldn’t be easier. Watch our hands-on video walkthrough for the details. As we showed you in, creating a Boot Camp partition on your Mac to install Windows is easy. The tedious part of the installation is taking Windows through its initial setup process, and configuring it to your liking. The configuration portion of the install process — initial setup, installing drivers, and downloading needed applications — can take a significant amount of time, so it’s worth backing up your Boot Camp installation after you have it configured to your liking. ![]() By doing so, you can easily restore a snapshot of Windows in mere minutes. Watch our hands-on video walkthrough, as we show you how to back up and restore a Boot Camp Windows partition using for macOS.
